Modeled as the classic debate societies in higher education, the Union is the proud inheritor of the highly successful debating teams of the recent past at WVU Parkersburg.

The Union will represent the college in formal debate competitions and host on campus debates and important speakers of note.

Our motto, "Victoria Scientia Crescit" translates as "Victory comes from Knowledge".
